Sindh govt announces new academic examination dates

KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, on Monday, announces new dates for academic examinations amid coronavirus outbreak.

While addressing a press conference, Ghani said that the new academic year will be started on June 1. Moreover, the papers of ninth and tenth grades will begin from June 15.

According to the minister, the exams will last for 15 days in Sindh. After the examinations, the result of tenth grade will be announced on August 15, 2020.

Coronavirus: Schools in Sindh to remain closed

Sindh government had announced that all schools will remain closed till May 30 due to the hike in coronavirus cases. Ghani said that we have better conditions than many countries in the world.

The Education Minister said that intermediate exams will be held from July 6 and will be in the afternoon shift. The results of intermediate exams (part 2) will be announced on September 15.
