12 Killed and 5 Injured in Rain Related Incidents

Chakwal September 2 (Online Int’l): At least 12 persons were killed and five others injured in road accidents in different areas of Chakwal district, sources said on Friday. In the first incident, four members of a family were buried alive when the roof of a house caved in due to torrential rain between Thursday and Friday night.
The incident took place in village Lakhwal. The victims were sleeping when the house roof collapsed leaving four members dead on the spot. Meanwhile, four members of a family, including a mother and a daughter were killed and a minor child injured in a similar incident.
