14 senior scale stenographers promoted as PS

Lahore: On the direction of Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, departmental promotion of personnel and officers is underway and in this regard, senior scale stenographers of Punjab Police have been promoted to the posts of Private Secretary under fast track promotion policy. The promote includes 14 senior scale stenographers who have been promoted to the post of Private Secretary and DIG Establishment 2 has also issued a formal notification of promotion to the post of Private Secretary. The promoted officers include, Khizar Hayat, Jahangir Ahmad Durrani, Muhammad Ajmal, Muhammad Yusuf, Muhammad Akhtar, Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Saleem, Ejaz Ahmad Wattoo, Muhammad Ayub, Noor Alam, Ejaz Masih, Mahtabuddin, Muhammad Saghir Khalid and Syed Masood Hussain. IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, while expressing good wishes for the promoted officers, directed them to work harder and more diligently than before. IG Punjab said that departmental promotion leads to increase in professional responsibilities along with the post so all officers should perform their duties with more determination and sense of duty. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that according to merit and seniority, departmental promotion is a fundamental right of every officer and official. IGP directed RPOs and DPOs to take steps in this regard on priority basis and meetings of departmental promotion boards should be held regularly.
