3rd October 2020, Baaghi TV: A total of 2070 medico-legal certificates were issued in September, says DIG Operations. He says that 13 Police Khidmat Counters at Hospitals are facilitating citizens involved in accidents and other incidents.
Police Khidmat Counter Jinnah Hospital issued 293 medico-legal certificates, while others issued:
- 258 at Services Hospital
- 105 at Mayo Hospital
- 421 at General Hospital
- 62 at Ganga Ram Hospital
- 253 at Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital
- 251 at Mian Munshi Hospital
- 47 at NS Yakki Gate Hospital
- 124 at Rural Health Centre Awan Dhai Wala
- 95 at Manga Mandi Hospital
- 70 at Barki Hospital
- 48 at Rural Health Centre Raiwind
- 43 at Chohung Centre
The quick issuance of MLCs has made it possible for the injured to receive timely medical attention and have their lives saved, says DIG Operations. Online data processing and photographs have enabled the issuance of verified certificates. Police officers and jawans are also being provided training in police verification, he says.
