ISLAMABAD, Dec 3 (APP): As many as 2,522 medical and dental graduates have appeared in Pakistan Medical Council (PMC)’s National Examination Board (NEB) Step-I Exam conducted by National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) last Sunday.
“Around 2,492 medical and 30 dental graduates appeared in the exam, out of which 579 were examined at Army Medical College, while the rest 1,943 were accommodated at Pakistan China Friendship Centre Islamabad,” a press release said Tuesday.
The exam was held in two sessions titled ‘Paper 1 and Paper 2’ of three-hour duration each with 150 multiple choice questions in every segment, with a 90-minute break.
“After the successful conduct of PM&DC National Examination Board (NEB) examination for foreign medical and dental graduates since 2017, National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) once again conducted NEB Step-I on Sunday, 1st December, 2019,” it added.
Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen HI (M), (Retd.) Syed Muhammad Imran Majeed and Pro Vice Chancellor Maj Gen (Retd) Muhammad Aslam along with other high officials of PMC and NUMS visited the examination centers to oversee arrangements for the examination.
