4-year old boy killed in kite string accident, Punjab CM takes action

Lahore: According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken cognizance of the incident in which a 4-year-old child was killed by the kite sting in Shafiqabad.

The Punjab Chief Minister has sought a report from CCPO Lahore and also ordered departmental and legal action against those responsible for the incident.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that it was unfortunate that kite flying incidents took place despite clear instructions. Actively take action to prevent kite flying. Action should be taken against those who violated the law.

CM Usman Buzdar extends heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of the deceased child.

On the other hand, in the provincial capital of Punjab, Lahore, on the direction of CCPO and DIG operations, action is being taken against kite flying.

The Dolphin Squad has done a great job against the kite surfers. Recover more than 110 kites during snap checking at deterrence points and hot-spots. Dolphin Team 77 recovered kites from two suspicious motorcyclists.

According to a Lahore police spokesman, the motorcyclists skillfully hid the kites in a carton bag. The accused Zohaib and Ghias have been handed over to South Kent police station. Certificates of appreciation have been announced for the team by SP Dolphin Rashid Hidayat.

On the other hand, CCPO Lahore ordered a large-scale crackdown on kite-flyers. The Lahore CCPO has issued orders that no concessions will be made to kite-flyers and their associates. The concerned SHO and DSP will be responsible for the complaint of kite flying.

Awareness announcements should also be made in the mosques of the area. I will personally monitor the action against kite flying.
