The forty-fifth death anniversary of sarangi nawaz Ustad Hamid Khan is being observed today.
Born in 1905 in Muradabad India, Ustad Hamid Khan was associated with All India Radio and Radio Pakistan.
He also performed in foreign countries and received international recognition.
He died on this day in Karachi in 1980.
