48 deaths reported from coronavirus during Eid with a significant rate of recovery
Lahore, 14th May: With the increasing number of coronavirus cases during the third wave of pandemic, they number of deaths is still on the rise in Pakistan.
According to the data collected from the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the number of active cases in Pakistan has reached 77,569. The total death toll has risen to 19,384.
The latest data shared by NCOC on its Twitter account is as follow:

According to the NCOC, 30,700 tests were performed in 24 hours, of which 2,517 new cases were reported, while 4,123 patients recovered.

According to the NCOC, 873,220 people have been infected with COVID-19 so far, with the proportion of positive cases across the country at 8.19 percent.
During the last 24 hours, most deaths occurred in KP followed by Punjab. Out of 48 deaths during the last 24 hours, 14 died on ventilators.

There is no patient on vent in Balochistan, AJK & GB. 591 vents are occupied across Pakistan.
