5 civilians martyred, 22 injured by 77 Indian drones in different cities

On the intervening night of May 8-9, the Indian army shelled Pakistani civilians in various sectors of the Line of Control (LoC). Indian forces targeted Leepa, Haveli, Bhimber, Chinari and Hajira sectors. The Pakistani army responded to the Indian shelling and took effective action against Indian aggression.

Meanwhile, aerial surveillance of drones in the Pakistani border area continued and so far 77 Indian drones have been shot down. These drones were shot down in various areas including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Karachi and other cities.

The Indian army’s drone operations have also resulted in casualties in Pakistan. So far, five people have been martyred. One person in Attock, one civilian in Rawalpindi, one in Nankana Sahib, one civilian in Bahawalnagar, and one civilian in Karachi have been martyred in drone attacks. 22 people have been injured in Indian drone attacks. 5 people injured in Lahore, 1 injured in Bahawalpur, 2 injured in Rawalpindi, 4 injured in Hijra, 1 injured in Haveli, 1 injured in Bhimber, 5 injured in Leepa, 3 injured in Chinari.

The Pakistani army responded to the Indian shelling with full force and took important actions in self-defense. All measures have been taken to protect the citizens. In these circumstances, more steps are needed to establish peace at the global level.
