India: Maharashtra Police issued a press release regarding corona based issues in the state from 22 March 2020. 714 police personnel have tested positive for corona virus in the state, of which 648 are active cases, 61 recovered and 5 deaths. There have been 194 incidents of assault on police personnel during the lockdown period & 689 accused have been arrested for the same.
