Pakistan: 7,882 violations of SOPs by the public in 24 hours

According to a Baaghi TV report: The people are still not cooperating in stopping the spread of Corona epidemic across the country. In 24 hours, 7,882 violations of SOPs were committed. The administration sealed thousands of vehicles, shops and fines were also imposed.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, in the last 20 hours, 7,882 incidents of SOP violations were reported across the country, more than 1,070 markets were sealed and 1,234 vehicles were fined or stopped and locked up at police stations.

According to statistics, 16 violations were imposed in Islamabad, 14 shops were sealed and 2 vehicles were fined while 3,252 violations were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 105 vehicles were confiscated and 178 shops were sealed or fined.

In Punjab, 2,172 violations were reported, 618 shops were sealed and 816 vehicles confiscated. In Azad Kashmir, 390 violations, 63 vehicles and 53 shops were sealed and several fined, while in Balochistan, 786 violations, 203 vehicles and 95 Shops were sealed and fined. Similarly, 183 violations were reported in Gilgit-Baltistan while 88 markets and shops  were fined or sealed and 23 transports were sealed.
