Riyadh, 24th September: Saudi Arabia’s exiled leaders in the United States and Britain have announced the first organized political resistance against the monarchy of King Salman.

Exiled National Assembly party leaders say our goal is to form a democratic government in Saudi Arabia’s monarchy.
Party officials say our goal is not to weaken or undermine the authority of the Arab world’s most powerful ruling family, but to challenge crude oil, and to control low prices and host the G20 summit between the Corona epidemics in November.

The foreign news agency claims that the National Assembly party is headed by prominent London-based human rights activist Yahya Asiri, while other members include Madavi al-Rashid, Saeed bin Nasir al-Ghamdi, US-based Abdullah Allaud and Omar Abdul Aziz.
“We have announced our party at a time when Saudi Arabia is facing difficulties, we want to fulfil the aspirations of our country’s citizens and their aspirations,” said Yahya Asiri, head of the National Assembly party.

Yahya Asiri, a former Saudi Air Force officer, founded the London-based human rights group Al-Qassat, which later said in response to the arrest of some members of the royal family that “the arrests of members of the royal family is a dramatic change”.
