Captain Safdar’s arrest, Federal Minister makes big demand

According to Baaghi TV reports, federal ministers came to the fore on the arrest of Capt. R. Safdar, and said that other suspects should also be arrested.

Federal Minister Ali Zaidi said that no one was allowed to riot at Mazar-e-Quaid. If the IG had not registered a case, he would have taken up the matter in the Assembly. Yesterday they crossed all the boundaries. If he had apologized, the matter would have ended, now Pakistan has changed. He said that other persons who desecrated Mazar-e-Quaid should also be arrested.

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood said that he was happy that the Sindh Police ensured implementation of the law. The Sindh Chief Minister fulfilled his responsibility by ordering the arrest of Captain (R) Safdar.

Shafqat Mahmood said that Captain Safdar desecrated Mazar-e-Quaid, the law should make itself known.

It is to be noted that in a case of desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi, Karachi police raided a private hotel and arrested Capt. (R) Safdar, husband of PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz.
