PAF’s Hamid Randhawa promoted to the rank of Air Marshal
Lahore, 12th April: Air Vice-Marshal Hamid Rashid Randhawa has been promoted to the rank of Air Marshal.
Air Marshal Hamid Rashid Randhawa was commissioned in June 1988 in the GDP branch of the Pakistan Air Force.
During his career, he commanded a fighter squadron, a flying wing and an operational airbase. He also served as Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Safety) and Chief of the Air Staff’s Staff Officer.
He also served as Air Officer Commanding PAF Academy Asghar Khan and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Defense.
He is a graduate of Combat Commanders School and National Defense University Islamabad who is currently serving as Inspector General of the Air Force at Air Headquarters.
He has been awarded the Medal of Distinction (Military), the Star of Distinction (Military) and the Crescent of Distinction (Military) for outstanding services in the Pakistan Air Force.
