Lahore, 27th April: PTI members supporting Jahangir Tareen met with Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday.
Baaghi TV reported on Monday that PTI senator Jahangir Tareen Khan is expected to meet the Prime Minister along with his like-minded ministers.
However, as per the latest reports, Jahangir Tareen’s like-minded MPAs met with the Prime Minister today in a meeting to express their grievances.
PTI leader Raja Riaz said that the meeting with the Prime Minister was conducted in a good atmosphere. Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked for time to resolve the issues.
Prime Minister said that he will monitor the case himself, the Prime Minister assured that justice will be done in any case.
The lawmakers expressed concerns against Shahzad Akbar, to which, PM Khan said that he will look into the matter himself.
On the other hand, the sources said that the Jahangir Tareen’s like-minded group requested the Prime Minister to form a judicial commission headed by Justice Sahir Ali, Tassaduq Jilani and Nasirul Malik.
The Prime Minister rejected the request of the like-minded group to form a commission of inquiry.
