World Maritime Day was observed on Thursday across the globe including Pakistan to focus on the importance of shipping safety, maritime security and the marine environment.
This year the theme of the day was “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity,”
In his message on the day, Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has called for urgent international efforts to protect oceans.
