PESHAWAR – October 11, 2025: Armed Khawarij launched an attack on the Hassan Khel police station in the suburban area of Peshawar.
According to reports, police personnel and the attackers engaged in intense firing exchange as the station came under attack.
Police reportedly responded swiftly, foiling the attack and killing two khawarij through timely and coordinated action.
Two khawarij were confirmed killed, while two others symustained injuries during the exchange of fire.
CCPO Peshawar confirmed that the situation has been brought under control and a search operation launched in the surrounding areas to trace the fleeing attackers.
The incident underscores the persistent militant threat on the outskirts of Peshawar, and is one in many such incidents as terrorism surges across parts of KP and Balochistan.
