India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval arrived in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to participate in the third meeting of the India-Central Asia National Security Advisers/Secretaries of the Security Councils. He was warmly welcomed at the airport by Melis Satybaldiev, First Deputy Secretary of the Kyrgyz Security Council.
During his visit, Doval held bilateral talks with Lt. Gen. Baktybek Bekbolotov, Secretary of the Kyrgyz Security Council. The discussions covered strengthening bilateral security cooperation, regional stability, countering terrorism, radicalization, extremism, drug trafficking, and other transnational organized crimes. The two sides reviewed defense ties and emphasized coordinating positions on shared concerns at regional and multilateral forums. The meeting took place ahead of the broader Central Asia-India security dialogue, highlighting expanding strategic ties between India and the region.
