Posters have been put up across various locations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, urging the Kashmiris to observe October 27 as Black Day.

The posters, displayed by various pro-freedom organizations, have been affixed to poles, walls and pillars in Srinagar and other areas. The posters read, “It was on October 27, 1947, that India forcibly landed its troops in Jammu and Kashmir, in direct violation of the partition plan of the subcontinent and the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiri people. This day, therefore, marks one of the darkest chapters in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.”

The posters further called on the Kashmiris to observe October 27, Monday, as Black Day in protest against India’s illegal occupation of their homeland.
