As climate change continues to unravel its catastrophic effects, third world country like Pakistan suffers from worsening floods causing displacements, deaths, and doom.

The recent accounts of flood-based devastation include the rescue teams and family searching for the body of one-year-old Zara. Swept away by the floods, her parents and siblings were found much earlier. Zara’s grandfather “Arshad” says, “We suddenly saw a lot of water. I climbed up to the roof and urged them to join me.” He added a tragic detail, saying his family tried to join him, but too late. The powerful current washed away all six of them.
