The social media platform X, formerly called Twitter, is currently down. Users are unable to see posts made on the platform or upload new tweets. The website Downdetector, known for reporting website outages is also down. The issue has stemmed from an outage of Cloudflare. Cloudflare is an internet infrastructure platform that offers several core tech services for websites and other online platforms.

Update: It seems that the issue has been resolved, with platforms like X and ChatGPT working once again. Cloudflare’s latest update has stated that services were starting to recover; however, “customers may continue to observe higher-than-normal error rates.”

According to The Independent, Cloudflare is aware of the technical outage, with multiple websites being affected. The company said on its website, “Cloudflare is aware of, and investigating an issue which potentially impacts multiple customers.” Cloudflare added, “Further detail will be provided as more information becomes available.”

Users trying to access websites that use Cloudflare services were shown the message, “internal server error on Cloudflare’s network, please try again in a few minutes.” As per reports.
