Pakistani students secured a resounding victory at the prestigious Oxford Union, decisively defeating an Indian panel on India’s Pakistan policy with a two-thirds majority vote.
The debate focused on the resolution that India’s policy toward Pakistan inflames public sentiment under the guise of security. Despite being numerically outnumbered, the Pakistani delegation — Musa Haraj, Israr Khan Kakr, and Ahmed Nawaz Khan — dominated the debate with strong logic, credible data, legal reasoning, and factual evidence that dismantled India’s narrative.
Observers noted that India’s refusal to send senior representatives to the event reflected a lack of confidence in defending its policies, further exposing weaknesses in New Delhi’s position.
The overwhelming win highlights Pakistan’s credibility on international forums and demonstrates how reasoned debate, backed by facts, continues to defeat propaganda-driven narratives.
