The conference held by the Jamaat’s Amir is perhaps the need of the hour. The assembly of foreign delegates from across the globe is evidently what explains the urgent need to combat the unprovoked situations thereof. The challenges are manifold. The enormity of our troubled areas is gargantuan; clearly, the blissful and halcyon days of Europe and the US are seemingly over. The focus, therefore, is now the Global South. There is a major shift in all areas of interest. Asia, Africa, and Latin America therefore become a hub of change; the Global South is reemerging on the global stage.
The speaker, Mushahid Syed, elaborated the very reason for this markedly new beginning. The worthy Senator mentioned in clear words that the time was ripe for a renewed spirit, a rejuvenation, so to speak.
