The 54th UAE National Day is being celebrated on Tuesday to mark the unification of seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended warmest greetings to the people and government of the United Arab Emirates on their National Day.
In their separate messages, they said Pakistan looks forward deepening ties with the UAE anchored in common faith, mutual trust and shared aspirations for peace and prosperity.
They said Pakistani diaspora in the UAE serves as a vital bridge between the two countries and remains a source of strength in the bilateral relations.
The President said we are confident that our expanding cooperation in trade, investment, security and defence will continue to advance our shared objectives.
The Prime Minister said our two countries remain resolute in striving for achieving the common goals of peace, stability and development.
He said the warmth between our two peoples is a testament to the mutual affection that exists on both sides.
