Hong Kong (20th Feb, 2020): The People’s Republic of China, reportedly uses drone camera to combat the novel Coronavirus.
According to latest reports, Chinese authorities are using technology to convey public service messages. An elderly Chinese woman was surprised as a camera hovered above her head booming out, “You shouldn’t walk without wearing a mask”. The woman reportedly hurried away as the drone camera continued to shout out instructions about remembering to wash her hands once home, as confirmed by CNN reports.

Moreover, according to reports, the police officials are going so far as to accuse people of “concealing” their movements to and from the virus epicenters in China. In addition to this, the top prosecutor in China, has issued a notice warning people against “deliberately transmitting” the virus. Reportedly, the prosecutor stated that anyone who refuses to accept quarantine and/or treatment against the novel virus will be “severely punished” by Chinese authorities.
Coronavirus casts shadow on China’s big screens
According to the state-backed Beijing News, the authorities have put out an announcement that the highest sentence for “endangering public safety” will be a death penalty. While China strives to contain the spread of the virus, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the outbreak a public health emergency.
