Lahore, 27th March: The representatives of the EMRA (Electronic Media Regulatory Authority) body have paid tribute to the renowned anchor Mubasher Lucman on his good-will gesture today.

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, EMRA has praised Mubasher Lucman on paying the salaries of his workers of Baaghi News channel and Baaghi TV before the end of the month.

EMRA President Mohammad Asif Butt praised the move, saying that Baaghi TV is not making any money nowadays but even during this crisis, the administration has decided to make full payment of salaries on the 28th of this month and that too without the deduction.

Coronavirus: A natural calamity or a plot?

During a lockdown, most employees of Baaghi TV are working from home or some are being quarantined in their places, so officially Baaghi TV is shut down too, but even then the workers will get their salaries before time.

Although the famous anchor has not got his salary from the TV channel himself, he will be clearing all the dues of his staff and workers underneath. Baaghi TV and the Kharasach team workers make up about 50 people in total.

“We pay tribute to Mubasher Lucman in this regard and hope the other media anchors, along with the rest of the TV and newspaper owners, learn from him and follow his footsteps,” President EMRA, Mohammad Asif Butt stated.
