India, 17th April: The pandemic is wreaking havoc all across the world, India is also entering the list of the most affected countries.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, COVID-19 has taken its toll in India, with 941 new cases in the last 24 hours, the total number has spiked to 13,420 and the death rate has reached up to 448 so far.

According to the Indian Ministry of Health, the virus has spread to 32 states in India, in which there are 76 foreigners among the patients of Corona. While 1,489 patients have recovered so far.

In Maharashtra so far 2,916 people have been infected and in the last 24 hours after the death of 9 people in Maharashtra, the death toll has increased to 187.

Delhi has recorded 17 new cases in the last 24 hours and in the meantime there have been 2 deaths, the number of deaths in Delhi has increased to 32.

In Tamil Nadu, 38 new patients have emerged, the total number of patients has increased to 1,242 and 14 have died.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a 21-day lockdown and extended it till May 3, in view of the continuous increase in the number of people killed by a coronavirus in India. “We all have to stay in lockdown by May 3,” Modi said.

The fight against Corona will intensify over the next week. By April 20, every town, location, district and every state will be monitored to see how much lockdown is being followed.
