QUETTA: Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court (BHC) tests positive for Coronavirus, COVID-19.

According to reports, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court (BHC) Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel has tested positive for Corona virus after which he is in isolation.

An official of the Balochistan High Court told Dawn that the Chief Justice had tested positive for Corona yesterday and since then he has been in quarantine at his home. He said that the Chief Justice was conducting important judicial matters from home and that his condition is getting better day by day.

It is to be noted that, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel is presiding over the bench in the case pending in the Balochistan High Court regarding Corona virus. It is to be noted that even before this, several important personalities across the country have fallen victim to Corona virus.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Balochistan Finance Minister Zahoor Baledi and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail were diagnosed with the corona virus, but their tests for a few days in quarantine were negative. Last week, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Assembly member Shaheen Raza also died of corona virus.

Shortly afterwards, Balochistan Assembly member and former governor Syed Fazal Agha died at a private hospital in Karachi after contracting the corona virus. A few days ago, senior PML-N leaders Amir Muqam and Nihal Hashmi were also confirmed as corona virus positive.
