Karachi, 28th May: A family member of the PIA plane crash victims demands that the remains of the dead bodies be handed over to their loved ones.

According to Baaghi TV, a heart-wrenching video of a mother addressing Prime Minister Imran Khan to take timely action so that they can bury their loved ones.

On Friday, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-8303 carrying 90 passengers and eight crew members crashed in the densely-populated Model Colony, a residential area near Jinnah International Airport Karachi, as a result, several lives lost and around five homes and some vehicles destroyed in the mishap.

The ill-fated plane took off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 1:10 pm and was scheduled to land in Karachi. According to sources, at least 97 people lost their lives in the incident while 2 passengers, Bank of Punjab president Zafar Masud and Muhammad Zubair, the young mechanical engineer have miraculously survived.

The bodies of 41 people out of the 97 killed in the incident have been identified and handed over to heirs, whereas the process of the bodies’ identification through a DNA test is underway.

The heartbreaking video of a mother crying bitterly and appealing to the PM has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the woman lost her two children in the tragic plane crash, and the family is still fighting to get the remains of the dead bodies of their children.

The family is undergoing distress as they are unable to get a part of the dead body of their loved ones. It has been five days since the families are not been able to receive the remains.

The mother is seen crying to obtain an eye or nose of her beloved children. She has raised a question to the PM what if these were his children and he had to run around to get their remains?

She has held PM Khan and the authorities answerable for the circumstances the families of the victims are undergoing. According to the woman, there is no department where they can register their complaint or ask for help.

Baaghi TV also urges the authorities to look into this matter and hand over the remains of the dead bodies of the people who lost their lives in the plane crash.
