Lahore, 1st June: The truth behind the recent death of Dr. Sana Fatima, who died of coronavirus in Lahore has been revealed.

According to Baaghi TV, Dr. Sana Fatima came to Lahore from Jeddah in a state of extreme illness after which she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She underwent a surgery at Lahore Hospital, was kept on ventilator for nine days and later she died.

It is reported that Dr Sana was not a coronavirus patient, but the media has reported her among one of the cases.

There is no doubt that coronavirus is an epidemic and deadly, but the media is losing credibility with this kind of reporting. In addition to the MDNA and Health Department press releases, there is a need to verify the news from independent sources so that all aspects come to light.

Below is a message from Dr. Sana Fatima’s sister which was broadcast on social media after her death.

Dr. Sana Fatima’s sister said in her message that my dear sister Sana Fatima has passed away. She was in Jeddah when she fell seriously ill due to benign mass in her lungs and returned to Pakistan. She underwent two surgeries at Doctor’s Hospital.

After four days on the ventilator, she was shifted to a room and then discharged. But a day later her condition deteriorated and she was again taken to a doctor’s hospital and put on a ventilator. She was tested for coronavirus and her test came positive.

However, on all the TV channels it is being shown that she contracted the virus and died due to COVID-19, which is wrong. When she was initially admitted to the hospital her corona test came negative. She may have contracted the virus from a hospital staff, as later her corona test was positive.

Dr. Sana’s sister urged to stop spreading fake news, any irrelevant documents, and requested everyone to recite Surah Al-Fatiha for her and pray for her soul to be at peace.
