According to reports, a ninth-grade student of a private school allegedly fell down the stairs and died.

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani took notice of the incident and has requested a report from the school authorities.

According to details, a 15-year-old girl Areeba Asif studying in a private school in Gulberg area of ​​Karachi allegedly fell down the stairs and died.

SSP Central Arif Aslam Rao said that the parents first took the girl to one hospital and then to another hospital, but could not give full details until they met the parents.

Private school owner Muhammad Asif Khan said in his statement that the student Areeba had fallen while climbing the stairs. The student was immediately shifted to a private hospital. The doctor of the private hospital said that the girl died at the spot.

Muhammad Asif Khan said that student Areeba came to school at 8 in the morning. Due to the coronavirus, the number of children was very low. The ladder from which the girl fell has 6 steps. The parents of the girl were also called immediately.

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani took notice of the death of a student who fell down the stairs of a private school and demanded an immediate incident report from DG Private Schools Mansoob Siddiqui.

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that an investigation should be launched into how the incident took place and why the school administration did not immediately take the girl to the hospital?

DG Private School Mansoob Siddiqui has said that a two-member investigation committee comprising deputy directors has been formed. The concerned deputy directors have reached the school and are investigating the facts.
