In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, after removal of the last bottleneck in the form Articles 370 and 35-A, Indian military establishment has started getting allotment of more land to settle retired military personnel and Hindu zealots in order to alter the demography of Jammu and Kashmir.
Hundreds of thousands of kanals of land mostly agricultural and forests land is already under the occupation of Indian troops since 1947 and now more land is being grabbed for construction of cantonment and army camps.
Since the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A, last year, the fascist Indian government under Narendra Modi in violation of several international laws deployed thousands of extra troops in the territory, imposed strict curfew and kept the people of Kashmir in jails as well as under house detention. The territory was bifurcated to achieve the nefarious agenda of the BJP-RSS nexus to turn the Muslim majority territory into a minority area.
Indian Army has already taken possession of around 200 kanals of Forest Land from Forest Department in tourist resort of Gulmarg to build a Hindu colony there. Similarly, 400 kanals of forest land has been occupied by the Indian Army at Kachhama on Uri-Baramulla road. Pressure is being mounted on the inhabitants of Kanispora near 4-Lane Bypass Baramullah to transfer around 200 kanals to the Indian Army.

Similarly, the land already occupied by the Indian forces, the land in possession of Forests Department and meadows and pastures in Kupwara, Bandipore, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Budgam, Shopian, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Ramban, Kishtwar, Doda, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, Samba, Kathua and other areas are being allotted to the Indian Army.
