Riyadh, June 16th: The World Health Organization has launched a provisional health guidebook, which also includes research by Saudi PhD scholars in British universities.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has released a temporary health guidebook on the coronavirus, a collection of scholarly research from around the world. It also includes research by Saudi PhD scholars at British universities.

According to Saudi media, the World Health Organization (WHO) has collected 211 research papers from different countries in the guidebook. Among them, the research of Saudi scholars is ranked 16th. Remember that the World Health Organization has been conducting research on the corona virus epidemic since December 2019.

Jaber al-Qahtani, a Saudi scholar of medicine at London College, said his dissertation was selected from 211 research papers. More than 20,000 research articles on Corona were presented, the World Health Organization based on the results of our research paper in 3 scientific reports.

Al-Qahtani said it was a matter of great pride for him that the World Health Organization had carried out his research. It is also a matter of honor that our article has been appreciated by international experts on the rules and regulations set out to prevent Covid-19.

He said that the key point of the research paper prepared under his leadership by scholars from many countries, including Saudi Arabia, was the proportion of deaths among smokers and people suffering from incurable lung diseases among the patients of COVID-19.

Al-Qahtani said that besides Abdullah Al-Shehrani, Matir Muhammad Al-Mohammadi, Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Abdullah Al-Qahtani, British scholars specializing in various fields were also present.

“The main purpose of our research was to find out and understand the effect of Covid-19 on people with a long history of smoking and lung disease. The latest methods have been tried in this regard.

Al-Qahtani said that his team studied 130 research papers in depth, and the results of 15 research papers were found according to the results of scholars. While trial procedures were used on 2473 patients.
