A Well-known Religious Scholar and Author, Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, Passes Away

Lahore (Baaghi TV): Well-known religious scholar, author of many books, director of research and writing department of Dar es Salaam Mohaqiq-ul-Asr, Quran commentator Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf passed away in Lahore today.

His funeral prayers will be offered after Zuhr prayers at Ahle Hadith Center, Lawrence Road.

Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf was born in Jaipur, India in 1945. After the formation of Pakistan, his father Abdul Shakoor was not ready to emigrate but Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf migrated with his brother and returned to Pakistan.

Two years later, his father also migrated to Pakistan. Initially he stayed in Hyderabad, Sindh for a long time and later moved to Karachi. After moving to Pakistan, he faced economic difficulties.

There was no tradition of education in the family. After moving to Karachi, he completed his memorization from Jamia Uloom Saudi Arabia.

Dars Nizami also started from here. Later, this madrassa was shifted to Soldier Bazaar and became known as Darul Hadith Rahmaniya.

During the course, Nizami Hafiz Salahuddin Yousuf also started studying literature related to Urdu literature.

At the age of fourteen, Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf moved to Lahore where he enrolled in Darul Uloom Taqwa-ul-Iman. The superintendent of this institution was Syed Daud Ghaznavi. Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf was also the editor of Al-Etesam Magazine.

After being associated with Al-Etesam Magazine for 24 years, he became associated with Dar es Salaam.

Initially he stayed in Riyadh for four years where he started writing Tafsir Ahsan Al Bayan. Later he returned to Lahore and completed Tafsir.

This Tafsir has reached all over the world and has been translated into different languages ​​and at present the commentary Ahsan Al-Bayan has its own place among the most popular commentaries.

Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf has also translated the Quran which was published from Dar es Salaam a few years ago. In addition, Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf wrote and translated a large number of books. In addition, Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf was performing sermons at a mosque in the Harbanspura area of ​​Lahore.

The scholarly services of Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf will always be remembered. Remember that his Tafsir was published by the Saudi government and distributed for free.
