Sanghar district in Pakistan’s Sindh province has had many identities in the past, but now the only one that seems to be recognizing is the limited efforts of government and non-government organizations to help the millions affected by the floods and rains and that’s probably why the outrage among the victims is growing here.

According to the details, an abandoned palatial mansion can be found on an island in Baqar Lake, Sanghar District in Interior Sindh. This abandoned mansion (commonly called Haveli in Urdu language) is less than an hour drive from Sanghar and then a short 15-minute boat ride away.

According to some claims, the owner of this mansion belongs to the Junejo tribe, a Rajput tribe in Sindh and in some parts of India mostly in Rajasthan and Punjab.

Pakistan is full of such hidden gems and a concentrated efforts of governments could turn this place into a tourist wonderland. This palatial mansion can be restored to it’s original grandeur and can be converted as a weekend retreat.

Baqar Lake has various islands, some of them are populated as well and can easily be converted into mini resorts on the same lines as Maldives.
