ACCA topper, Zara Naeem expresses disappointment over comparison with Dananir

Rebel TV: Recently, Pakistani student Zara Naeem who got the highest marks in the world, in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exam was compared with ‘pawri girl’ Dananir Mobin who had gone viral because of a video on social media.

In this video, Dananir Mobin, along with her friends, made a video with a unique accent, which later became very popular. After Dananir Mobin’s video went viral on social media, internet users expressed regret over Dananir’s high media coverage in comparison to Zara Naeem..

After Zara Naeem and Dananir Mobin became famous around the same time, pictures of the two were often shared together and the two were compared. However, Zara Naeem did not like this. The ACCA topper has issued a statement pertaining to the social media comparison between herself and Dananir.

“To be honest, I was very disappointed to hear this, because people were comparing the two of us,” Zara said in an interview, “Which I think is wrong. Hopefully Dananir believes it too.”

She said that she was disappointed to be compared with ‘pawri’ girl Dananir Mobin and was not happy with the situation.

“A comparison is done with regards to the same achievement but, we both had different achievements,” Zara said. “So the two of us can’t be compared. It is wrong to compare two different things, and it is not wise to compare two different directions. To some extent this has discouraged Dinaner and to other I have been discouraged”.

“I handle criticism better, but only if it’s positive,” Zara Naeem.
