Accused arrested for attempting to rape 8-year-old girl

Lahore: Gender Cell Iqbal Town Division has  arrested accused of attempting to rape a girl.

Police sources said that action was taken against the criminal accused on the notice of DIG Investigation Lahore Sharq Jamal Khan.

Sources said that accused Rafaqat Ali, who tried to rape the 8-year-old innocent girl, has been arrested.

According to the details, the girl had gone to the madrassa to give food to her elder brother and on the way, the accused took the girl to his house and tried to rape her.

Incharge Gender Cell Iqbal Town Division Misbah Hafeez along with the team arrested the accused and the arrested accused Rafaqat Ali has confessed the crime.
