Lahore, 22nd August: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Secretary-General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the accused in the Model Town case are using delaying tactics through unnecessary petitions in order to avoid justice.

According to reports from pat.com.pk, Secretary-General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said on Saturday that regarding the Model Town case, one such petition was moved in a civil court instead of the anti-terrorism court where the actual trial is underway. However, that petition was dismissed for not being followed.

While talking to the PAT legal team at the central secretariat, Gandapur remarked that the accused party did not argue on the petition it had submitted more than a year ago, which shows that the only purpose of this tactic was to delay the case.
