Actor Aagha Ali apologizes for a five-year-old video

Lahore, 20th August: Pakistan TV actor Aagha Ali has apologized for his comments on a five-year video after getting trolled on it.

According to Baaghi TV, for the past few days, a 5-year-old video has gone viral on social media in which Faysal Quraishi, Aagha Ali, and Neelam Munir are seen.

In the video, Aagha Ali said, while talking about Neelam Munir, that when we are sitting during the shoot, suddenly a call comes to Neelam after which someone starts talking in Pashto.

All the participants, including the host, started laughing at Aagha Ali’s funny remarks. Pakistani actress Neelum Munir is Pathan and belongs to a Pashto family.

Aagha Ali has been criticized by some users after the funny video went viral. People claimed that the actor had hurt the sentiments of the Pashtun people.

However, the actor had apologized in his tweet, saying, “I have never spoken any insensitive words against Pathans. I respect them and apologize for hurting anyone.”

Aagha Ali in his second tweet said that I have said in many shows that Pathan is the hardest working nation of Pakistan but unfortunately people do not say such things and make them go viral. He wrote, “I voted for a Pathan Prime Minister, so I think the Pathans are very capable. May Allah have mercy on Pakistan.”

Aagha Ali also wrote, “Whatever I said in that video was just to a friend on a TV show. It is really disheartening to see how it got misinterpreted. Much love to every Pakistani.”
