Actor Noman Ijaz spills beans on Atif Aslam making his TV debut

Lahore, 23rd August: Pakistan’s famous singer Atif Aslam will make his acting debut in a TV serial titled ‘Sang-e-Mah’ by actor-director Saife Hasan, revealed Noman Ijaz.

According to details, Pakistani actor Noman Ijaz confirmed the news and said singer Atif Aslam will appear in a TV drama for the first time ever.

As per reports from Dawn Images, the drama titled ‘Sang-e-Mah’ is a sequel to the TV drama Sang-e-Mar Mar which was aired in 2016 starring Kubra Khan, Sania Saeed, Ijaz and Mikaal Zulfiqar.

In a video recently shared by Noman Ijaz, he informed that he was shooting for his upcoming drama in Islamabad, the star cast of which includes Atif Aslam, Zaviyar, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz, Kubra Khan and Hania Aamir. He added, “You all loved Sang-e-Mar Mar and I’m sure you’ll love Sang-e-Mah too.”

According to reports from the media outlet, Atif Aslam will play the central character opposite bubbly actress Hania Amir.

Meanwhile, Aslam has been quite mum about his new project and venturing into acting. While giving an interview to BBC‘s Haroon Rashid, Atif Aslam said that he was waiting for the right script. However, people might be able to see him on TV delivering dialogues, he said.

Rumors have been making the rounds since the start of August that world-renowned singer Atif Aslam who has won the hearts of millions around the world will soon be making his debut on the TV screen.

It may be recalled that in 2011, Atif Aslam was seen in a movie titled ‘Bol’ playing the love interest of actress Mahira Khan. The movie was written, directed and produced by Shoaib Mansoor and also featured Humaima Malik and Iman Aly.
