Actress hurled life threats

Lahore: Film, theater and TV actress Mahnoor has said that she has been receiving death threats on the phone and police is reluctant to take action despite her request.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, the actress said that she was requesting the government to punish those who made threatening calls to her.
“I applied to the Model Town police station but no action was taken. I can show the recordings of how boldly he threatened to kill me. The video recording said that if I left the house tomorrow I would be killed.” If this situation continues, there will be no work in Pakistani theaters, “she said.
She said that many artists have already been killed and now she is also receiving threats.
Punjab Auditor Theater Producer President Afzal Butt said, “I think we are not living in Pakistan.”
He said that Prime Minister CM Punjab Usman Bazdar and CCPO Lahore should take notice of this serious matter.
The Prime Minister is against bullying.
He said that FIR should be lodged on emergency basis to provide protection to the artists community.
