Addressing his first press conference, Hammad Azhar shares good news

Lahore, 31st March: In his first press conference as Finance Minister, Hammad Azhar gives good news to the nation.

Hammad Azhar while giving a press conference said that he had issued a bond of two and a half billion dollars, which was successful.

He said that we will reduce the price of petrol and diesel.  The price of diesel will be reduced by Rs 3 per liter and petrol price will be reduced by Rs 1.5.

He added that we will import 500,000 tons of sugar from India and will soon be opening trade of cotton with India for small scale industries in our country.

Further highlighting the recent events, he said that we have made the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) independent so that our currency can stand on its own.
