Afghan Taliban claim to take over 85% of Afghanistan #Baaghi

Lahore, 9th July: Afghan Taliban held a press conference in Moscow and said that they have gained control of more than half of Afghanistan.

According to reports, the Afghan Taliban held a press conference in Moscow on Friday and claimed that they have taken control of 85% of Afghanistan.

A Taliban delegation in Moscow claimed that 85 percent of Afghanistan is now under Taliban control. The delegation has once again assured Russia that it will not allow Afghan territory to be used against any other country.

After 20 years of war in Afghanistan, NATO forces have accelerated their withdrawal from the country, while the Taliban has been gaining ground and control of more territory.
Sheikh Shahabuddin Dilawar, who heads a Taliban delegation in Moscow, claimed control of much of Afghanistan. However, the Afghan government’s position in this regard was not forthcoming.

According to foreign media, the Taliban have also captured the Afghan-Iranian border town of Islam Qiaa and Afghan forces are trying to regain control of it.

Speaking at a press conference in Moscow, Taliban leaders said they were free to attack Afghanistan’s administrative centers because they had not promised the United States they would not target them.
