LAHORE: Afghanistan beats Pakistan by 85 runs in their first match of Under-19 Asia Cup.
According to reports Afghanistan U19 team beat Pakistan U19 by 85 runs on Thursday in their opening match. Pakistan won the toss and elects field first. Afghans posted 162-9 after 46 in a match in Colombo that was delayed by rain. Pakistan were bowled out on 78. Afghanistan’s Shafiqullah Ghafari was declared man of the match as he picked up three wickets. Fazal Haq, Obaidullah Taniwal and Noor Ahmad claimed two wickets each. Sediqullah Atal was top scorer for Afghanistan with his 29, followed by Rahmanullah who made 27.
On the other hand Pakistan’s batsmen Irfan Khan scores 19 and Rohail Nazir scores only 16 runs were the top scorer for Pakistan.
