BaaghiTV: Afghanistan has accused the Pakistani military of once again shelling Afghan territory in a provocative act against Afghanistan’s sovereignty and a violation of international law.

Officials at Afghanistan’s Ministry of Defense and Kunar Province on Monday claimed that the Pakistani military had allegedly shelled Afghan territory. According to Afghan officials, the Pakistani military had allegedly fired dozens of rockets into Afghan territory. Pakistan has not responded to these allegations. However, tribesmen in the Pakistani tribal district of Bajaur, which borders Afghanistan’s Kunar province, say there have been unconfirmed reports of clashes between Pakistani and Afghan security forces from the border area.

Fawad Aman, an Afghan defense ministry official, told VOA’s Radio Ashna that the Pakistani military should stop shelling immediately. The move is against Afghanistan’s sovereignty and international law. On the other hand, Kunar Provincial Council member Mohammad Safi told VOA’s Diva Service that the alleged shelling by Pakistan It will also be raised in front of the international community and the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul will also be protested. It should be noted that Afghan officials had also accused Pakistani forces of shelling last week. Afghan officials say nine people have been killed and several others injured in a series of shelling by the Pakistani military on the civilian population of Kunar province.
