After his first dose of COVID vaccine, President Arif Alvi tests positive
Lahore, 29th March: President Arif Ali Alvi tests positive for COVID-19.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Pakistan President Dr Arif Alvi has contracted the coronavirus pandemic after receiving his first dose of the vaccine.
Dr Arif took to his Twitter account to announce that he has contracted COVID-19.
وازا مرضت فھوا یشفین
اور جب میں بیمار ہوتا ہوں تو وہی شفا دیتا ہے
I have tested positive for Covid-19. May Allah have mercy on all Covid affectees. Had 1st dose of vaccine، but antibodies start developing after 2nd dose that was due in a week. Please continue to be careful.

It is important to note that President Alvi and his wife Samina Alvi got their first dose of COVID-19 jab on March 15 in Islamabad.
