AIOU also makes an announcement amid the second wave of coronavirus

Islamabad, 23rd November: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has made an important announcement regarding the current situation of coronavirus in the country.

Baaghi TV: Allama Iqbal Open University has postponed its examinations across the country from November 26. Examinations for BA, postgraduate programs of the university were going on all over the country.

After the meeting of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), Shafqat Mahmood had announced the examinations all over to be postponed.

The meeting was also attended by the provincial education ministers. The education ministers agreed to close educational institutions due to COVID-19. The meeting also discussed the duration of how long the schools should be kept closed.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood said that the health of teachers and children is first and foremost. No compromise can be made on health.

As per Baaghi TV reports, all institutions will be closed, and that they will conduct online classes from November 26. The educational institutions will be closed until January 10, if conditions improve then the institutions will be reopened. A meeting will be held in the early days of January.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood said that all schools, colleges, universities and tuition centres will be closed. From December 25 to January 10, all students will have winter vacations.
