Ali Zafar Defamation Case: Iffat Omar gets interrogated

Lahore, 13th October: The Cyber Crime Wing has interrogated four accused in the case registered against Meesha Shafi and others by well-known singer Ali Zafar.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, the cyber crime wing has interrogated actress and model Iffat Omar, Fareeha Ayub, Shehzad Raza and Hamza Raza. While the Cyber Crime Wing has not yet sent a notice to Meesha Shafi.

Sources in the Cyber Crime Wing have revealed that Meesha Shafi is abroad.

On the other hand, the four accused involved in the investigation have denied the crime. The accused stated that they uploaded the status on their social media accounts on public opinion. Actress Iffat Omar said that they had not posted to offend anyone.

The FIA last month arrested Meesha Shafi, actress and host Iffat Omar, Lena Ghani, Fareeha Ayub, under Section (1) 20 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PICA) 2016 and R / W 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The case has also been filed against Mahim Javed, Ali Gul, Hazimul Zaman Khan, Hamna Raza and Syed Faizan Raza.

All these personalities are accused of making allegations against Ali Zafar on social media under a scheme. After the case was filed, Iffat Omar and some others were granted bail.

It may be recalled that Ali Zafar had approached the FIA against those who initiated a campaign against him on social media. The FIA Cyber Crimes Wing had initiated action on Ali Zafar’s request.

It may be recalled that Ali Zafar had earlier won the defamation case against Meesha Shafi in the High Court.
