Alif Noon to get a remake soon!

Lahore, 23rd  September: The classic Pakistani television show ‘Alif Noon’ will be recreated into a feature film now.

Baaghi TV: The hit comedy show ‘Alif Noon’ which was quick to gain a huge fan following in Pakistan was first released in 1965. It transitioned from black and white to colour later in the 80s with repeat telecasts.

In the original show, Kamal Ahmed Rizvi featured as Allan, and Rafi Khawar portrayed the role of Nanha.

In the recreation, Shehzad Roy and Faysal Qureshi will be reprising the role of Allan and Nanha respectively.

Shehzad Roy took to his Instagram to upload an old video of the song Laga Reh, in the post he explained why he and Faisal Qureshi will be acting in the remake.

Faysal Qureshi will be writing and directing the film as well. The objective of this upcoming remake is to make it a thought-provoking, satirical action comedy revolving around the two main leads in present times. They will be dealing with the challenges of modern society.

We are eagerly awaiting this remake and cannot wait for the new generation to love the characters we grew up laughing with!
