Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, Abdul Hameed, has presented his Letter of Credence to the Emperor of Japan at a dignified ceremony held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

According to the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo, following the formal presentation of credentials, the Ambassador conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Emperor.

Ambassador Abdul Hameed reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its longstanding friendship and expanding multifaceted cooperation with Japan.

Officials of the Embassy, including the Economic Minister Syed Irfan Abbas Shah, Defence Attaché Air Commodore Yashir Shafiq Malik, Political Counsellor Ch. Talha Bin Khalid, Press Counsellor Muqarrab Mukhtar Awan, Trade and Investment Counsellor Ms. Madiha Ali, and Community Welfare Attaché Ms. Zahra Dastagir, attended the ceremony.

Senior Japanese officials, including Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Ryosei Akazawa, were also present on the occasion.
